Our modern culture is shaped by music. Quite literally, our individual style, appearance and characteristics are defined by the musical genre we adhere to (if any). All in all, without music our world would be a very different place. Without music there would be various other medium affected, including radio, film, television, commercials and even the internet, which are highly influenced and complemented by musical innovation.

If you listen to radios, CD players, MP3 players or any other electronic device, chances are you are going to be hearing music in some shape or form and the same applies to waiting rooms, lifts, nightclubs, pubs, bars and restaurants.

It goes to show that it fills a large cultural niche that could not possibly be replaced with anything else.

In the modern world there are so many new ways to listen to music that it is unavoidable. With the internet, where so much material - be it signed or unsigned, new or old – is readily available, there is more music to enjoy than ever.
